World Premiere: Asimov - The Seeker
Asimov have been a favourite of this blog for a while and so I'm pleased and honoured to be able to premiere the brand new video from them. 'The Seeker' is a particularly freaky affair with footage from 'Máscaras', a 1976 Portuguese documentary by Noémia Delgado and musically it is everything you would expect from this fine band - plenty of heavy fuzz that takes the best of the seventies heavy psych scene and brings it bang up to date...in short...it is a belter!!
'The Seeker' also marks a busy time for Asimov; they are currently writing and recording material for their new album 'Flowers' which should drop next year sometime and this summer sees a well deserved vinyl re-release of their 'Truth' album via the Guerssen imprint New Records (I reviewed 'Truth' last February , you can read that here). If you are lucky enough to be in or around Lisbon this Sunday you can catch the band playing the Feira Morta festival and will be joined by some musician friends under the banner of Asimov And The Hidden Circus and will be playing some brand new songs.
