Video: Krano - Mi e Ti
Just a quick post to share with all you lovely people the new video from Krano. 'Mi e Ti' is taken from his new album 'Requiescat In Plavem' out on Maple Death Records. "'Mi E Ti' is the story of an Italian soldier, set during the World War I. Dispersed after an assault that turns out to be a massacre, he takes refuge in a forest and gets lost. He starts a journey that leads him to get rid of his clothes and everything that defines being a soldier; what remains is a man that want to leave the horrors of war behind him and return to home." Musically it is a languid, slice of buccolic folk, dripping with atmosphere and feeling.....one of those songs that gets into your head and won't leave. The harmonica lends it a Neil Young vibe, but overall a beautiful track that can't help but to beguile and mesmerise. The video, however, is stunning! Shot by Samuele Gottardello, it is a poignant reminder of the futility and horror of war and, being shot in HD, it is a thing of beauty. Feast your eyes and ears on this:
